Susan has been researching the Wisehart genealogy for quite a few years. She was in close contact with pioneer Jean Vance. Jean's great grand father was Martin Wisehart who was also researching the family of Benjamin Wisehart.

Louisa May Wisehart, daughter to James Wisehart (1807) married a Hiram B. Brattain.

 Claude S Brattain was the son of John Brattain, a court bailiff and Mattie both born in Indiana. Claude's World War I Draft Registration Card, 1917-1918 reads that he is single, but supports a mother and child and living in Henry, Indiana. Occupation photographer.
