Tyler & Eads Album

Our earliest Tyler ancestor dates back to 1544 in England. Most of the Texas Tyler's were researched
by family members. Another good source is from the book "The Hooten Family History From England To America"

Watt (in the hat) was an amputee.  Notice his left sleeve tucked in his trousers.  He lost it in a cotton ginning accident three years earlier. He never let the loss effect his life and continued to work his farm.  Lillie Mae, his wife, is holding the youngest child Eugene.  Alice is pictured next to Watt with her hand over the shoulder of 8 year old boy (Grady Lee Tyler).   Nephew Gordon "Slim" Lee is  behind Watt.
